Coach holidays

COACH HOLIDAYS.

Well its been a while since I posted as I could not find much about, Now with companies going bust its even harder as all the other companies have put the prices up so much its really hard to find a bargain?. So what I thought was I would tell you about some fantastic short breaks with some of the coach companies.
It’s a really nice way of meeting people and most of your meals are included too, and most of them give one or two free excursions so that’s even better.
I have already been on one this year in May and I have another one booked for December and I can not wait.
If you go to coachholidays.com you will find a selection of different holidays but at a price you can afford, I got my holiday half the price of the actual holiday firm that was doing the trip so keep looking and do lots of research before booking.
There are several coach companies and they depend on what part of the country you live? I tend to use the one mentioned above door2tours, www.justgoholidays.com. Leger holidays, shearing holidays, grandukholidays, crusader holidays, and consort holidays. So there is plenty of choice to choose from.
Most of the cheaper breaks are in England and Europe I think you will be surprised with what you can find, happy looking

Late deals

Late deals

It is now a good time to start looking for that late get away and I have found quite a few today.
I will start by telling you about the first one I have found and its flying from stansted to Majorca from the 5th – 12th October hotel blue sea gran playa 3*** all inclusive for 2 adults with bags all for only £397.00. That is a good deal.

The next is a flight from stansted flying to Ibiza staying at a 2** hotel at the costa sur – sol post complex double room for 2 adults all inclusive from 6th – 13th October with baggage for only £416.00. These are both with lowcostholidays but if you look on the web site they have loads of holidays for really loads of places at a very low cost.

If you prefer a s/c holiday you can travel the same dates and airport for just £294 in total for 2 adults.

Finding a cheap package holiday

Well I will start by saying I did not think I would do it but to my surprise I did,
I have found a holiday cheaper with lowcostholidays, cheaper than what I could do?
I searched hundreds of flights & hotels but came out with a weeks A/I for £249.00
And with lowcostholidays it came out at £216.00 and £13.20 more with transfers a total of £229.20 a saving of £19.80. It was for Majorca in the resort alcudia 28th Sep for a week From London stansted.
Holidays have desperately gone up recently leaving most families without a summer getaway. But don’t be negative I have had some amazing holidays in this country and not costing a lot of money just a cheap little getaway, it is usually at a holiday camp or even just camping but that’s for another day?.
I have had several little breaks at caravan parks and before anyone thinks not for me? Then just try it you may be pleasantly surprised. I do tend to keep pretty local only travelling under 100 miles so dose not cost the earth in petrol either.
You can find these on the internet by just looking for caravan parks and then you choose where you want to go and how much you want to spend as some are more expensive than others but it just depends on you budget.
You have the larger ones such as Butlins, Haven, or even Hoseasons, but then you are paying for very large venues but little camps are much more reasonable.
I tend to use park holidays UK, or park resorts and have always had a wonderful time.

Really cheap flights
I have just found a really cheap flight with cheapflights.co.uk from London Gatwick to Palma Mallorca (Majorca).
With luggage and taxes for just £43.98 I just couldn’t believe it. It is for 9th – 16th of June so nice weather too. And one from Luton for just £53.98 same dates. At cheapflights.co.uk they have 4 million new flights each day ensuring the cheapest flights around.

doing it yourself cheaper

Today I am going to give you an example of a package holiday by holidaynights.com which is a very good site to use and very reasonable, I got a flight, transfers and hotel for £1,490.98 this was for a family of six 4adults & 2 children
Then I done the flights, hotel and transfers separately and this is how I done it.
I firstly went to ryanair.com and booked the same flights for 27th September and returning on 4th October I also booked 15gk of luggage & the total for everything was £82.98.each total of £497.88
I then booked transfers with holidayrooms.com at a cost of £95.70.
I then booked one of my favourite hotels in Santa Susanna
The Santa Susanna Resort is situated roughly a kilometre from both the beach and the town centre.
This hotel was at a cost of £635.04 a/I (all inclusive) booked with alpharooms.com.
So the holiday that I booked was £262.22 cheaper than the package price & the only thing I booked that wasn’t included in the package price was priority boarding as it is one thing that I do prefer when travelling with budget airlines, but it was only at a cost of £4 each way so not bad.

BOOKING A FLIGHT

BOOKING A FLIGHT
I am now going to show you how to book a flight from start to finish. And show all options like I spoke briefly about earlier, let’s say we want a flight from London stansted flying to alicante in Spain, and I want to fly out on the 7th June and return on 15th June. Well we will start by going to one of the budget airlines. I will use http://www.ryanair.com/ in this example. In the search box enter your departure airport I have chosen London stansted going to alicante (ALC) then it will ask what dates and also a box to tick if your travel dates are flexible , I always tick this as I book my flights from the prices not always the dates.
Then it will ask number of passengers, so far very easy!
Then you must tick the box which says have read and accept the terms of use of the ryanair website as if you don’t you can not go any further.
Then several boxes will appear with dates and prices, this is where the price of your flight will be, also showing online check-in, delay/cancel levy, taxes/fees. Then the total at the bottom, but remember to look at the times of flights as the cheaper flights are usually very early in the morning, or later at night.
So today 21st may the flight for the 7th June is £11.99 plus £6.00 online check-in with free delay/cancel levy and free taxes/fees so the total so far is just £17.99 say you want priority boarding then that will cost you another £4.00 each way and on top of your free hand luggage allowance you can now use the drop down bar and book yourself 15kg of luggage but remember this is at a extra cost of £40 still all in you have now got yourself a complete flight for just £88.98 and that is everything so don’t worry about a thing your flight is now booked.
When filling out your card details there is a small fee but less if you use a debit card instead of a credit card.
Ryanair have more flights from stansted but they do fly from many more airports, and all are of similar price.
Now to remind you of looking at the prices of flights, as I mentioned earlier it isn’t always the cheapest flight that works out to be the cheapest in total as some will have free taxes, but some of the cheaper flights will have taxes to add so do search through many before booking your flights . I hope it makes sense but after searching for flights for a while it will all fit into place I am sure.
